Aeroflot със сериозни планове за ставане на по-премиум компания :

 

Aeroflot has revealed a significant strategy shift, which will be implemented over the coming years. For context, in addition to “mainline” Aeroflot service, the Russian airline has three subsidiaries:

• Pobeda Airlines is Aeroflot’s low cost carrier, and operates a fleet of 30+ Boeing 737s
• Rossiya is also an Aeroflot subsidiary, and operates a fleet of 60+ aircraft to leisure destinations, both short haul and long haul
• Aurora is an Aeroflot subsidiary, and operates a fleet of 20 aircraft (including A319s and turboprops) out of the Far East

 

Aeroflot will focus on long haul & premium flights

Aeroflot wants to become a Skytrax 5-star airline, and as part of that the airline intends to exclusively operate long haul and premium routes.

The company notes that the only Skytrax 5-star airline carrying more than 35 million passengers per year is Lufthansa, so generally the company feels that bigger airlines can’t deliver amazing quality. Therefore Aeroflot will for the most part not operate regional routes, instead focusing on markets where it can excel and deliver a high quality product.

While many people like to joke about Aeroflot, the reality is that the airline is already excellent.

Pobeda will take over regional routes & aircraft

Pobeda is Aeroflot’s low cost carrier. Aeroflot is planning significant growth for the airline:

• Aeroflot will transfer nearly 50 Boeing 737-800s to Pobeda
• Pobeda operates an all-economy model, so this also means that these flights would no longer feature business class; the planes would go from featuring 158 seats to featuring 189 seats
• Pobeda has significantly more seats on planes and a lower cost structure, so Aeroflot believes this could lead to a 30% reduction in regional fares
• It’s noted that 12% of Pobeda passengers have never flown before, and the plan is for the airline to expand in that market

Rossiya will expand significantly

Rossiya currently operates a fleet of nearly 60 aircraft, about a third of which are long haul aircraft (including 777s and 747s). The airline will more than quadruple in size over the coming years:

• Aeroflot’s fleet of up to 150 Sukhoi Superjets will be transferred to Rossiya (the airline so far has about 55 in its fleet, with a further 95 on order)
• Aeroflot’s order for 50 Irkut MC-21-300s will be transferred to Rossiya

This means Rossiya’s fleet will eventually feature mostly Russia-built aircraft.

Bottom line

This is a huge, gutsy business model change for Aeroflot. The airline is transferring nearly 250 aircraft (including current planes and future orders) to subsidiaries, so Aeroflot will be way smaller in the future. Eventually Aeroflot will operate just A320s, A321s, A330s, A350s, and 777s.

Мисля, че братушките са на прав път, а и имат средствата да вдигнат нивото значително.

 

Ако трябва да правя сравнения - по мое мнение дори и в момента (хайде, допреди кризата) Aeroflot продуктът е на доста по-високо ниво от на "5-звездната" Lufthansa, която лично за мен остава най-надценената авиокомпания в Европа и винаги последен избор в пътуванията ми.

 

Отношение, бизнес салони, обслужване, храна - без забележки съм. Нямам търпение да се кача отново на борда на Aeroflot. Усещам, че техните ваучери от кризата ще ми влезнат в прекрасна употреба догодина.

 

Апропо, точно Aeroflot реагираха най-бързо, пращайки ваучери едва няколко дни след пускане на рекуест. Отгоре на всичко те са валидни за цели 3 години, което е без еквивалент.

Явно ще разчитат на собствени сили (пътници - руснаци). Защото ще намаляват рязко дестинациите, а никой няма да се прекачва от нискотарифна към супер премиум първа класа.

Интересна промяна.

Като летях до Банкок с тях имаше трансфериранщи през Москва чужденци, включително немалко американци (предимно млади), които ги ползваха заради добрите цени и въпреки по-дълго пътуване.

 

Но е факт, че обслужването е доста добро - дори на полет София - Москва даваха топла храна. Алтернативата по маршрута минава със сандвич 😃

Това са пари на самите пътници, които просто се връщат обратно под формата на ваучери - тук дори няма финансова транзакция, камо ли със средства на данъкоплатци. Факт е, че Aeroflot издаваше ваучери за дни (при повечето ак се чакаше минимум месец) и при тях срока за ползването им е най-голям (3 години срещу най-често 1 година). Много добър сървиз въпреки критичната ситуация.

 

Или ти визираше Lufthansa и техните 9 милиарда помощ?

 

Така или иначе точно държавно финансираните авиокомпании често предлагат топ продукт - Etihad, Emirates, Qatar, Turkish, Aeroflot. От гледна точка на клиент ми е безразлично кой и с какви подбуди вади кеша, стига нивото да е добро. В този ред на мисли държавната помощ при Луфти току-виж им се отрази добре и вземат да оправдаят тея 5 звезди, които за момента са падащи.

 

Отделен е въпросът, че ако кризата продължи още повечето по-големи авиокомпании или ще бъдат одържавени или ще фалират.

Няма как да не разчитат на трансферни пътници. Следва да си захранват бутиковите полети с пътници от "селските" дестинации.

Аз имам особени симпатии към Аерофлот и досега винаги съм летял с голямо удоволствие с тях, което и ще продължи да бъде така. Звездички от skytrax всеки може да си напазарува стига да му трябват, това беше окончателно доказано след фиаското с петте звезди на Луфти и трите на Търкиш и двете действително незаслужени. 

 

Не съм особен оптимист по принцип за топ продуктите предлагани от държавни компании, защото въпреки че и аз им оценявам услугите, този тип компании често са на загуба и сметката винаги се плащат от данъкоплатците, просто в някои страни поради специфичния им начин на управление хората нямат думата засега, но тези неща не продължават вечно. Този модел на управление за чужда сметка не е устойчив... @Topfly, брат, къде си?! 

 

За Луфтханза конкретно, те сами първи избор от известно време заради топ самолет като А380 и всъщност съм доста доволен от тях и за дълги полети дори не се замислям по въпроса стига часовете да ми пасват, но всеки може да си има каквито иска предпочитания, малко ме интересуват тези неща, на мен например не ми е ясно защо още има хора, които летят с Бритиш, но това не е въпрос и не искам отговори.

 

Връщайки се към темата, хайде манджи няма да поствам, че с това вече се забавлявахме преди, но дори за кратък полет София-Москва менюто на руснаците си е повече от прилично, да не говорим, че други нямат менюта дори за дълги полети. Сега за вътрешни полети го карат малко като Луфти с някакви мини изпълнения, които за нищо не стават, но това не е толкова важно.

Екипажи на Аерофлот контрабандирали Апъл продукти на стойност 50 мил $ , част от продуктите дори са били крадени...

 

The US Attorney’s Office of the Eastern District of New York has filed charges in what it calls a “$50 million Russian smuggling scheme.”

An indictment and complaint were unsealed on Monday in federal court after an extensive investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the New York City Police Department (NYPD).

10 individuals have been charged with transporting $50 million in electronics from the US to Russia. The electronics were mostly Apple products, and many were even stolen.

All of the electronics were transported on Aeroflot flights, and most of the smugglers were Aeroflot employees. As a result, the Department of State has revoked visas for 113 Aeroflot employees, for their participation in the scheme.

The smugglers generally fit into one of two categories:

• Aeroflot employees who were traveling as passengers, presumably using their travel privileges
• Aeroflot employees who worked New York flights (perhaps specifically bidding for them), and would then transport electronics back to Russia

In all cases, smugglers received instructions from the person at the center of this operation, who would coordinate handoffs in New York.

Searches of luggage of Aeroflot crew members and employees revealed millions of dollars worth of electronic devices. For example:

• Between August and December of 2019, one man took four trips from the United States to Russia, transporting over 1,000 Apple products valued at over $1 million
• On October 9, 2019, he carried nine suitcases containing 235 Apple products, with an estimated value of $250,000; one has to wonder if customs staff in Russia were in on this, because I feel like typically traveling with nine suitcases would be a guaranteed way to get pulled over when going through customs

When a search warrant was executed on the residence of the guy in the center of all this, over $600,000 in cash plus a large number of Apple products were discovered.

Of course no announcement of a bust like this is complete without some bad attempt at humor. As the FBI Assistant Director-in-Charge said:

“If you believe it is acceptable to exploit positions with a foreign airline to smuggle millions of dollars in illegal goods back to Russia as we allege, the answer is Nyet.”

Bottom line

10 people have been charged in a scheme that involved smuggling tens of millions of dollars worth of electronics on Aeroflot flights from the US to Russia. These were mostly Aeroflot employees, with many working trips to New York, and presumably just making some extra money along the way.

This is far from the first time that we’ve seen a story of airline employees involved in some sort of a smuggling scheme, though this certainly seems like one of the larger scale and more coordinated efforts that has been uncovered.

In the US we’ve sometimes seen flight attendants act as drug smugglers, which is easy enough for them to do when they can bypass security thanks to their “Known Crewmember” status.

This Aeroflot scheme seems gutsy, especially when you have one person traveling with nine suitcases that have 235 Apple products…

Русия възобновява полетите към България

Правителството на Руската федерация обяви решение за възобновяване на полетите на Русия с редица страни, сред които и България, считано от 28 юни 2021 г., съобщиха от пресцентъра на българското Министерство на външните работи.

По информация на посолството ни в Москва, за България се възстановяват полетите по маршрутите Москва-София, Москва-Варна, Москва-Бургас с честота от четири полета седмично по всеки маршрут и Екатеринбург-Бургас, Екатеринбург-Варна, Минерални води-Варна, Самара-Бургас, Ростов на Дон-Варна, Ростов на Дон-Бургас с честота от един полет седмично по всеки маршрут.

Решението е било взето на заседание на Оперативния щаб на руското правителство за предотвратяване на разпространението на коронавирусната инфекция в Руската федерация, ръководено от вицепремиера Татяна Голикова и е публикувано на официалната страница на правителството на Руската федерация.

Aeroflot Group and United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) have signed an agreement for the purchase of 339 Russian-built planes. This deal includes the following aircraft:

• 210 Irkut MC-21
• 89 Sukhoi Superjet New
• 40 Tupolev Tu-214

This deal is worth $16 billion at list prices, and was signed at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. The Russian government will help with financing for this order.

These planes are expected to join Aeroflot’s fleet between 2023 and 2030, with the first Sukhoi planes being delivered in 2023, and the first Irkut and Tupolev planes being delivered in 2024. The planes are intended for all Aeroflot Group airlines, including Aeroflot, Rossiya, and Pobeda.

Извинявам се. Любопитен съм колко самолета ще произведат, при положение, че имат огромен проблем със скалирането - например при СУ-57. Аз залагам на не повече от 50 бройки.
