    • The museum’s collection includes a display dedicated to the Parachute Regiment & Airborne Forces. The collection includes weaponry, uniforms, parachutes and parachuting equipment, photographs and other memorabilia from WW2 – including material relating to the Battle of Arnhem – up to the present day. The collection includes exhibits from the Falklands campaign and covers both British and foreign airborne forces.

The collection is housed in a dedicated cabin that includes a recreation of a Parachute Regiment corporal’s room complete with bed, stove, equipment and uniforms. A new, larger display building is planned for 2015/6 which will enable us to display the museum’s fully restored 18ft section of Horsa Glider from WW2.
